What it answers
The map is built to answer four practical questions: Who is genuinely qualified? What evidence supports that assessment? Can the market be reached? What has been established directly about compensation, geography, timing, and stance?
It also makes market constraints visible before a buyer commits to a search. A thin population, an unrealistic specification, a below-market compensation package, a narrow geography, and weak access are different problems. They should not be hidden inside one ranking.
Four fields that do not collapse
| Field | What it records |
|---|---|
| Capability fit | Evidence against the agreed outcomes and selection rubric for the seat. |
| Evidence confidence | Strength and recency of the sources supporting the capability assessment. |
| Relationship access | Whether a credible direct or referred path to the executive exists. |
| Confirmed stance | Compensation, geography, timing, and interest recorded only after direct contact. |
Interest is never inferred. A strong executive whose stance has not been established is recorded as unconfirmed, not available.
When buyers use it
| Trigger | Decision supported |
|---|---|
| Acquisition diligence | Can this asset be staffed at the level, geography, and cost being underwritten? |
| Succession planning | Who exists 12 to 24 months before a known vacancy? |
| Stalled search | Is the problem coverage, access, compensation, or the role specification? |
| Pre-mandate | Is a search the right instrument, and what must be true before launch? |
| Compensation calibration | What package is required to move credible passive executives? |
Evidence boundary
The map separates public records, recruiter observations, and directly confirmed candidate information. Public marketing pages never expose candidate identities, contact information, compensation, or private stance. Client access and introduction rights are governed by the applicable agreement.
